Modify ASP.NET C# project to MVC and add some tiers

I am a little confused about the communication between PHP API and ASP.net project. Will it be like ASP.net - -> Send Payment Information to API OR Will it be POS --> Send payment information to PHP API. OR ASP.net project that we are going to develop is going to be used as POS.
