Current project is building a digital swing weight scale for golf clubs. Digital scale portion is built using an Arduino Nano, 1kg load cell, HX711 load cell amplifier, a pushbutton, and a 1602 I2C LCD. Attached is the code which works fine and a pic of readout I’m getting on LCD. All good. What I would like to do is convert the gram weight to swing weight terms. Here is a brief explanation of what I am talking about.
Example: the reading 352.4 grams corresponds to a swing weight of D-5.24. That is:
• The first digit, 3, means we are in the D range.
• The rest of the digits, 52.4, means we are 5.24 points into the D range.
I would like this shown on the LCD as: Swing Weight
using both lines of the LCD.
As I am very much a novice at writing code, I am looking for some help. I would guess it would involve adding some “if” statements to current code. If this is something that interests you, please bid and give me a time frame.
