I want a simple C program for Linux that is very much like the "less" command, except I want it to work as a menu. The up/down keys will be used to scroll through and highlight a line of text. When the ENTER key is hit, the current highlighted line of text should be echoed to stderr.
Much like "less", this command must be able to draw/update the full screen of text on a Linux console (tty1) without unpleasant artifacts like flicker. The program should automatically use the full width and height of any size of terminal. I believe the use of ncurses will allow fulfilling all of these requirements quite easily.
No line-wrapping. The left/right keys must be able to scroll horizontally.
The input text will often be much longer than the terminal, so pagination must work.
The pgup/pgdn keys should work, jumping several lines up or down, but their use must not be required.
Hello
i have vast knowledge on the topic which can help me get the work done perfectly and on time. i am looking forward to working with you.
