Create images with php based on coordinates of dxf and dstv (nc1) files

Project

When any construction is designed there are parts that have te be cut. Like plates between the profiles, mounting plates etc.

To be able to cut those pieces there can be generated different file formats of each to cut product. These file formats are mainly dxf and nc (dstv).

These files contains all to be cutted contours. This project us used at cutting companies who will cut those pieces for there client. To able to make an calculation they need some information. They need to know the max X and Y dimension of each product. Also the surface of each product.

When they have finished there calculation the offer is created where echt product in an different line on this quotation. There I need the image of the product, only as an visible reference.

Taks

Write an script (with comments for explanation) in php that reads an bunch of files (dxf / nc) stored on the server. With the data present in the files create images as jpg and store some of the information in an MySQL database.

The image of the product should be placed in the center af the base image.

There is no need for implementing, i will use this script later as an add-on for an existing system.

Image details

The image that has to be created is based in an 250x250px jpg file.

See files Example [login to view URL] and Example [login to view URL] that are attached as an example how the files should be (not the correct dimensions).

An image can consist of:

- lines (vertical / horizontal / diagonal)

- arcs / radius

- circles

Image based on dxf and nc

All coordinates for the lines are stored in these files. You can open them with Notepad or any other program.

Variables to MySQL database

I have attached several files where is explained which data needs to be sent to the database.

Variables in nc file: Info values DXF to [login to view URL]

Variables in dxf file: Info values NC to [login to view URL]

The maximum X and maximum Y dimension to the database: [login to view URL]

The surface of each image to the database (if there are no holes): [login to view URL]

Note: In the nc files also the thickness of each part is mentioned, I need that as well stored in the database.
