Using fitness and diet to control crohnes disease

Need to generate interest in my community facebook page tied into my twitter page about living with crohnes disease and using fitness to live a healthly life style . Need on going content for my page and looking to stick to one writter for my page and doing weekly postings. Also open to hearing suggestion of building this. I want to tie in using fitness , diet and nutri to help live a healthly life style while living with crohnes diseas. I see community pages , blog sites and social sites where everyone complained and it made me feel depressed, not better. I don't want to talk about pills, pains and surgery. I want to talk about living! For example, I follow a ton of fitness pages. On Instagram and Pinterest, they share recipes, exercises and positive thoughts to achieve results. I need to enter existing conversations to provide value. It's not just about how you are living well with Crohn's, but about how you are living well period. The Crohn's, rather than being a barrier to success, has increased my drive. Once I got over the depression, I realized that I can do anything, BECAUSE I live with this disease and it hasn't slowed me down. (People always say that - you don't look sick. It's annoying, It's about you being an inspiration, not because you have Crohn's, but because you are living life to the fullest. I was raised in a small town in Massachusetts and now live in Las Vegas , Nevada. I have been living with Crohn's since 1988 after 14 years of rarely even catching a cold. Prior to diagnosis, I was a competitive top state soccer player; starting and winning on many all -star teams and regional teams. It took many months, several doctors and even more days and nights of lying in the fetal position on my bed (or the floor) from the intense pain, before I was finally diagnosed properly. I've heard more times than I can count every excuse from, "It's all in your head" to "It's just gas". When I was finally diagnosed I could hardly fathom the news. I asked the doctor how to fix it, and when he replied "Unfortunately there is no cure", I was devastated. Since 1988 I have had numerous surgeries, resections, abscesses, fistulas, fissures, obstructions, fatigue, dehydration and many other "minor" complications. I, like many other after diagnosis, went through all of the phases - the "why me?!" phase, followed by "wtf!!" and then the "c'mon, really?!"phase. Now I am in a new phase of my journey. The reason why I'm sharing my story is to promote health, wellness, nutrition, fitness and my support group.
