PAK OU CAVE & KUANGSI FALLS

Visit the eerie Pak Ou Caves by boat, passing villages and river life, and visit nearby local village. After lunch, see the mystical Kuang si waterfalls and an inspiring sanctuary devoted to the rehabilitation of rescued bears.

A leisurely two-hour boat along the Mekong to the eerie ‘Cave of thousand Buddhas’ at the Pak ou (the mouth of Ou River).
Mekong riverside scenery: villages, local fishermen, trade vessel, and dramatic, precipitous mountain scenery.
The mysterious Pak Ou Cave – where the local people add annually to a repository of Buddha statues in tradition which lasted for centuries.
A riverside village, where you will learn about local Villages customs and life and be free to sample the infamous local ‘LAO LAO’ rice wine.
