We are looking for an experienced UNITY programmer to continue work on an existing app project that was produced using Gamesalad: [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] We now aim to expand our market reach through a UNITY engine port. Code work in UNITY has been started. We need you to continue in the existing project. We use a simulated 3D approach using high resolution/high quality 2D pre-rendered images to support low end devices. We will continue using this approach with this new code. The base code architecture is set up in a way that allows our artists to quickly swap in new Model pre-rendered images and data tables to produce a new model. No code required: our artists are able to output asset bundles by just updating csv tables, model and UI image files, a song, bundling, and uploading to our server. We are leveraging the successes of this production approach with this new UNITY code as well. The base code must be flexible enough to allow artists to turn off and on certain features and quickly plug in their assets to view and test their artwork on target platforms, followed by compiling, testing, and publishing. The basic UI elements are at first-pass implementation in UNITY and the coloring logic is in. There's no guesswork in this job. Just smart code work. The design is defined and the UX prototyped. All Audio, Model Images, UI Images, UNITY project, and csv Tables are provided at project start. UI layout and flow are correctly represented in the V1.0 apps currently available for download on Apple Store and Google Play; changes to the existing app design are outlined as such in detailed design documents. This first contract will focus on re-doing the model image loading & display, RAM management to support low-RAM (512 RAM) Android and iOS devices, as well as support model asset bundles and multi-model UX integration. We’re looking for a Unity Coder that shows they can produce quality multi-platform mobile apps using Unity that demo smooth UI and UX, load quickly, perform great, and feel like quality apps.
