I am seeking a very good developer who is also an accountant, and/or has a deep knowledge of invoicing/payment lifecycles as well as a very strong understanding of dual entry accounting. I have an app and softwares which are built, but I have some questions on how to handle complicated nuance scenarios when handling invoices, split payments, credit/debit carry forwards, failed payments, etc. Ideally this person should have past experience designing dual-entry accounting systems, and especially experience with invoices/payments (that are complex in nature, not simple one-off invoicing.. if it were that easy I wouldnt be looking to hire someone I want to take 1-2 hours of your time and pick your brain about database data model, how to handle certain situations, etc. When I talk to an accountant who doesn't know programming, we encounter a language barrier where they can't translate their ideas to data model, and I can't articulate problems and issues in terms they would understand.
