I am starting an EMF (electromagnetic fields) consulting business that will entail taking measurements of EMFs in homes, proposing renovations that would remediate the EMFs and executing the renovations. I have a business partner who will handle all of the onsite testing and renovations (he is currently a general contractor). I will own most of the equity in the business and handle everything administrative (website, marketing, books, taxes, etc) and I will show the partner how to do the tests and give him equipment to use (I already own equipment for testing). I need help with (1) determining what we need to charge for the service to make it economical for both of us, (2) figuring out how to use freelancers to handle as many administrative tasks as possible to reduce my load (I already have a full time job) and (3) anything else I am not thinking of. I am a business lawyer, so setting up the legal structure is not an issue. Most of my advice, however, is to large established enterprises, so I do not see the start up space often.
