We are a small electrical contracting company located in Australia. We are looking for someone who can manage our accounts receivable to ensure our company has steady cash flow. The position will require the applicant to have excellent communication skills, be personable and be able to self-manage. They will be required to make positive contact via phone call with customers who have overdue accounts, send overdue invoices, send account statements, regularly follow-up with non-paying customers. They will report to the Head of Administration and Finance. The position is for 2hrs per week initially - this can be reviewed once position commences.

I have been doing the same job for last two decades, I am comfortable to manage because I know the complete Accounts Receivable process. I have worked for Isango a UK based company and managed AR & AP processes and for Rostfrei a US company. First is to prepare AR reports/list of customers along with number of due days for payment recovery. Once my list is ready will start communicating with each customer based on ageing analysis. - Once I have sent emails to all the customers then will start with follow-up emails to non responding customers, - Reply to Customers who need more details about transactions etc... I understand this job needs regular follow-ups with strong home work and digging the information from books of accounts related to each and every transactions with customers.
