CentralNic is seeking a skilled professional or organisation with an in-depth knowledge of XML schemas to develop schema documents for its proprietary extensions to the EPP protocol. Defined in RFC 5730, EPP is an application layer client-server protocol for the provisioning and management of objects stored in a shared central repository (usually domain names). Specified in XML, the protocol defines generic object management operations and an extensible framework that maps protocol operations to objects.

Extensions to the EPP protocol must be defined using the XML Schema Language. We have developed several extensions but do not currently have schema documents that allow our registrars to validate our responses to their commands.

You will use your knowledge of XML and XML schemas, the RFC documents that describe the EPP protocol, and our documentation for the extensions to develop schema documents that will allow our registrars to validate our responses to their queries. We will test these schemas in conjunction with our registrars prior to the completion of the project.

Upon completion of the project, copyright for the produced documents will be assigned to CentralNic.
