I have been attempting to compile the latest version of XFoil (6.97) from source for the last week and am having no luck! It is open source and written for both Windows and Linux, and while I can get it to compile in Linux, I'm having no luck in the desired Win32 environment.
All of the source code can be found here: [login to view URL]
And the updates to compile in Linux are here:

I've installed MinGW and XportMinGW in an attempt at cross-compiling, and while it will compile and run the console, it fails at opening a display window to plot the results or at outputting a .dat file due to an EOF conflict. Ideally, I would like it compiled natively for Windows 7+ ala Verison 6.96, with plot functionality, double-precision, and file I/O via the "PACC" command. If anyone would like to take on the task, I would appreciate it!
Hello,
I've already compiled older versions of Xfoil for Windows in the past. I can compile for you XFoil 6.97 to work on Windows 32 bits with all the graphics.
I will also test the compilation by doing a complete airfoil analysis (e.g. NACA 0012 for angles from 0 to 12 degrees).
Thanks for considering me,
Paul
