This is part of a much larger enterprise messaging/communication solution.
An existing Explorer Shell Extension that works very well on the following operating systems: Windows 2000, XP, 2003, and Vista does not work on Windows 7. The shell extension is a custom explorer view (similar to the control panel applet) that exposes messages on a remote server via a DCOM interface. The source for this extension is available. The extension should work well in both x86 and x64 environments. Native x64 not required if 32bit version will work. Bonus 50% fee on successful bid is possible if not only you fix the bug but also compile a x64 version as well. Licenses for the server application will be given and source code of course for the exisitng shell client that is currently failing on Windows 7 desktops.
A small snippet from the software's documentation that covers the client is attached. Feel free to ask any questions.
I'm not sure what the detailed c++ code is, and would like to help you finding the reason why the code isn't working well on Win7, it would be a trick? please check p.m.b for more details. thanks. Simon
Hello, I see you require Explorer Shell Extension to work on Windows 7 (32bit and 64bit). From your attached PDF file, I assume it is the "2Point Messenger" menu in Windows Explorer which needs to to be there on Windows 7. I have sent your a private message about my skills and previous experience in similar projects. I rest-assure that I will complete the work on time and deliver your the completed work to your satisfaction. I like to look at the program and source code first. That will give detailed idea of the issue. Can you send it? What is the programming language used?
Dear sir,
I have the experience to do this project.
Please send me the source code.
Choose my bid and get the project done to professional standards.
Regards!
