website from template

I need to put together a website(s)/blog(s) using templates from WP. Will need to incorporate a link to an ecommerce site using WP with ecommerce plug-in. I am a copywriter, and so will supply beginning text. I will need appropriate categories/departments set up, side bars set up so that each week I can easily slug in new copy. My aim is to have a consistent magazine-feel layout. The e-commerce site (blog) will need a event calender, a shopping cart and credit card portal. The main blog page will need video, audio. Am currently using apture to upload links into site. Also want to incorporate a buddy site (WP) within the blog. So, a recap: 1. Blog with magazine feel, with categories and departments that can be slugged with new copy each week. Blog will need a permission popup function to capture vistors. Want to use apture for links and web images. Will need creative customized header. Prefer to use template from WP. Will need link to a second blog that has ecommerce capability, including shopping cart, event calender, payment portal. Again, prefer to use template from WP. And finally, search engine optomization up the wazoo!
