The selected developer should have a valid developer's AppleID. To place your bid, please send us your Enrolment ID. You should have a valid Apple Publisher qualification, meaning that you can submit apps to the Apple's AppStore.
## Deliverables
The project consists of research and development. Bidders can include a "research" factors to the overall price, however, completion of the research will not be considered as a payment milestone. We are not interested in bidders who will research and then tell us that they can't do the job.
The application to be developed is an IPhone app, aim to prevent spyware, viruses and other malicious apps to run on the IPhone.
All bidders must submit their plan for implementing this. The various methods this application will use should include:
The Scoring Method - a number of checks will be performed in the background and periodically. The result of these checks will be calculated into one score based on the relative weight, the developer should give to each result, combining them into one score (0-100. 0 - Safe. 100 - Risk).
a. The checks will include:
1. Measuring the consumption of the battery and alerting and taking into score calculation irregular usage.
2. Measuring the network traffic and alerting and taking into the score calculation irregular traffic.
3. Measuring CPU usage, temperature, etc.
b. Restarting the SIM card. When a new SIM card is inserted, spy phone applications log such change and report it. We are looking for the same affect without replacing the SIM, maybe by restarting the SIM or any other idea you might have.
c. Protection / Prevention actions:
1. Blocking WIFI
2. Blocking location reporting
3. Blocking and detecting voice recording (internal and external)
d. UI
The app should have a settings screen and a UI for reporting on security risks. The bid should be specific as of your suggestions. This is part of the required research.
e. Other methods for detecting spy phone applications and other malicious applications, should be suggested and implemented as part of the research.
e. Encryption
Providing the ability to encrypt data such as text messages, photos, other data, and phone calls, while decrypting them on the fly. This is an optional part of the project.
