Have experience in Ruby on Rails for 3+ years, Have worked on freelance projects with remote locations before. My last project was an API base restaurant management system , so I think the API requirements in this project can be met in a similar way. I am also good at automation frameworks ,We can use cucumber-rails to set this up would help you to maintain the site quality. I might not be a local candidate but have strong communication skills and have also lead projects in my full time job.

My bid is tentative. I have a few questions about the scope. I want to make sure I fully understand the beta product before confirming. I'm not based in Utah. I live in the SF Bay Area & work out of Impact HUB Oakland. If we continue to work on the app long-term, I should be able to stop by Park City for occasional meetings or work sessions. I could work out of your offices or I could rent a conference room at Impact HUB SLC. Plus, I could extend my visits into a trip to Zion National Park. Questions 1) Will the in-house developer implement the front-end development or only supply the designs? 2) Are there wireframes or use cases? I’m trying to understand the full functionality. 3) Will there be users, purchases etc or only a list of products? If there are going to be relationships or ‘joins’ in the data (ex: users with orders), I’d recommend using SQL w/ NoSQL. If the initial phase is going to be only an aggregation of products a NoSQL only solution may be the best option. A bit about me: I contract as a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer for a start-up based in Australia. I’m looking for work to hold me over for the next few months until they close a funding cycle. Methodology: I use Test-Drive-Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven-Development (BDD). I use Cucumber to write the BDD tests. Cucumber is a plain-text language that is easy to read even w/o a tech background. This means everyone on the team can read the tests & have a better understanding of the dev process.
