What We Are Seeking ================ We’re seeking a software tester to work with our website programmers in reviewing their work for (i) code quality (ii) code efficiency (iii) functions as intended across all of our target web-browsers. The successful candidate will be energetic, eager to learn and comfortable working in a remote work environment with developers and stakeholders all located remotely. Required Experience ================ • 2+ years of software testing experience • Experience with each and every aspect of software testing, including – unit testing, integrated testing, automated testing tools, manual testing and security testing • Experienced with, and be able to recommend unit testing frameworks & tools – i.e. Selenium / LoadRunner (or similar) • Experienced with Browserstack and automatic testing script • Experience with GIT and collaboration tools such as Assembla and Basecamp • Excellent standard of written English, and excellent communication skills Highly Desirable ============ • Knowledge of APEX (OR/AND JavaScript) for our move to Salesforce is highly desirable • Pursing or obtained a degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science or a related field • High degree of knowledge of Microsoft Word • Knowledge of Object Oriented programming languages • One year of programming experience • Knowledge of responsive design Responsibilities ============ Execute test cycles according to plan, test procedures and specification – monitoring the test cycles for completion and being correct. Analyse and review database, recommends modifications to improve reliability and integrity
