Convert QBasic to VisualBasic

I've also done several conversion projects, either between database platforms or between programming languages. Currently I have one ongoing (VB6>.NET) nearing end, so timing would be ideal for me to take up this project. For conversions, I can use a manual or semi-automatic approach, depending on the degree of uniformity of the original source code. I guess you want to migrate your application to VB.NET? Hello – it really isn’t possible to make realistic offers unless you provide comprehensive details about the project. How big is the current QBasic project? How many modules does it have? Screenshots/features/functionality/data model, etc, etc. A proper idea of the project scope can only be gauged if you provide this information and only then can a realistic offer be made. Hi, I'm realist, if you say that's big app, I prefer give you a long time for the migration. It is necesary, too, to define database for your project if your app hold on data y .dat files. I have experience in this kind of projects, I'm 42 years, I knew Qbasic may be from 1989-1991. It's necesary to read the Qbasic book again; There is many app to convert qbasic to visual basic, but it's vb 6.0 not .net and it's possible that you have the same problem in two or three months, because VB6.0 is obsolete now, and it's possible that does not run in your pc. My proposal is: 1. See app running 2. See the code Qbasic 3. Define how migrate app to vb.net with database 4. I'm 20 years experienced with original basic thru to visual basic. My understanding of all of the historical and current versions of the true basic language means that for me the interpreted code of Qbasic is easily re-written in the object oriented environment of vb6. I have no problem untwisting goto's.
