Change Prestashop Template from Templatemonster

My client has purchased a prestashop template from templatemonster (template #34478). We want to take off the product carousel (showing 5 sample products in the template screenshot) and replace it with a text box. We need the text box background to be transparent with white text and a heading line (h1) in blue to match the template. The text needs to be easily editable so we are hoping we can have a Home Text Editor module (or similar) so we can edit the text easily. We can provide a jpeg showing a mock-up of what we need.
