Contour Lines Paper

Report 1: Do you know what is a map with contour line? The assignment is about the contour line. You should find the definition of contour lines, describe some of its applications and show at least three examples.

Report 2: You already know what is a map with contour line. Now you will do some comparisons and write a report. In the report, please contain the followings:

1. A map of USA of the distribution of mysteries hum. You can get it from the website thehum.info.

2. One contour line map of USA. I assign the map for each of you as the list: average temperature of Nov contour map of USA

3 Except the one I assigned to you, choose 2 more contour maps of USA by yourselves. The type of contour map includes, but not limited, temperature, population density, sea level, and precipitation.

4 Explain the meaning of each map.

5 Discuss any possible relation between the hum and the other factors shown in your contour maps.

6 Make the paper to be understandable, i.e., if a person read your report, he can understand what are you talking about, even if he do not know any thing about it before.
