Hello, I would love the opportunity to develop an ongoing relationship with you as a proofreader for manuscripts, PDF and eBook versions of books. I have a strong eye for detail, especially in formatting of eBooks and PDF documents. I am available for ongoing work, and am seeking to work between 5 and 10 hours per week. Depending on the work, I am willing to negotiate either a per word or per hour rate. I tender a starting offer of $6 per 1000 words or $16 per hour for proofreading. Possibly a combination of pay rates would be most appropriate - with a per word rate for initial proofreading and an hourly rate for checking PDFs and eBook formatting.
