Hi,
The reason I am not asking for a milestone percentage is that I have just enrolled here, and I am hoping to get work and acquire a good reputation. In order to demonstrate my written grammar, I have copied and pasted the following from my profile, which I have have submitted today.
I have a typing speed of 65wpm and my native language is English. My grammar and spelling are excellent, and although I am from the UK, and my spelling therefore reflects that, I am aware of the slight differences in US English spelling, and I am happy to adapt my spelling in that respect to suit. I am able to produce attractive and professional looking articles in Microsoft Word, and I was highly respected as administrator of a busy office a few years back in permanent employment. I left my job, along with many other employees, as following a company takeover, we were dissatisfied with the resulting contractual changes.
I am currently employed by a recruitment agency for whom I have been working for three years, and they have told me that the client satisfaction reports on the work I have done have always been excellent. They gave me plenty of work, and clients for whom I had previously worked would ask for me again by name. I took a few months off work due to a family bereavement, but now I am ready to work again, and want more than ever to do so. However, due to the current economic climate, I am finding it very hard to find work.
I am hard-working, trustworthy and reliable, realising the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
Although I am not a creative writer per sé, I am very good with words, and friends often ask me to write official letters on their behalf, and would love to reword articles. I am also particularly good at writing anecdotes, making them light-hearted and humorous.
I look forward to hopefully receiving work from you.
Kind Regards,
Sue Hill
