I need a proof reader who is also able to make editing suggestions for a 30,000 word book of an adult nature. The book is about the internet dating scene and the experience of one man and his numerous 'encounters' over the past 3 years. The writing style is laid back and slightly humorous. We would like to keep it this way. We want 0 spelling mistakes and for it to be reasonably grammatically correct. However grammatical correctness should not come at the expense of readability, nor should it hinder the free flowing, easy to read style in which this book is written. GOAL: We want the book to get this book published (doesn't everyone?) so it needs to be good enough to present to potential publishers. We also want to create this as an e-book (Kindle) as sales through this medium are probably more realistic. So aim for 'ready to submit to publisher' standard. EXPERIENCE: I am looking for someone to edit the book but also someone who can ensure there are no spelling mistakes. If you have experience in editing then you are well on the way to being awarded this project. If in addition to this you have some proof reading experience/skills that you can bring to this project then your prospects of being awarded this project will be greatly enhanced. SELL TO ME: I want you to sell me on why you should get this project. Price is very important to me. I am looking for the best value for money I can find for my client so give me your most competitive quote. TIMEFRAME: I would like this to be completed within 2 weeks of being awarded.
