Example:

[url removed, login to view];my_type_id=8&class

_8=33

A filter has been applied using the "class_9", "my_type" and "class_8"

variables. Presumably there is a table that this filter plugin pulls from

which contains all of the makes/models of vehicles. From here, note that

some type of cookie has likely been set to contain these values.

Browsing to a category only shows results that match the filter applied:

[url removed, login to view]

Here is an assumption of normal pseudocode/SQL for browsing a category:

SELECT * FROM products WHERE [url removed, login to view] = '$category'

The one-line modification to the page is now:

if $COOKIE

SELECT * FROM products WHERE [url removed, login to view] = '$category' AND

[url removed, login to view] CONTAINS '$MAKE' AND [url removed, login to view] CONTAINS '$MODEL'

else

SELECT * FROM products WHERE [url removed, login to view] = '$category'

end

Other sites that use these filters:

[url removed, login to view]

[url removed, login to view]

Here is some more information regarding a contribution that may never have

been developed:

[url removed, login to view]
