Amend Vqmod in Opencart PHP

I have a vqmod (Option SKU)which allows me to assign a SKU for each option. There is an additional field created in order_option table to record this option SKU. This module works fine with classic opencart and various themes. I have recently purchased another vqmod that gives a one-page checkout interface, which means the standard checkout modules are not longer used when this vqmod is enabled. The option SKU vqmod is build around the standard modules so now option SKU is now not being recorded in the order_option table. I need someone to tweak this option SKU vqmod so that it's compatible with the new checkout module.
