PDF BASED COMIC WEBSITE(repost)

My partner and I are looking to build a website at the domain registered as: [login to view URL] This website will be a HTML, Graphic & Link based and purpose will be to showcase & share our comic book collections with a select few in our office. Obviously, we will have to supply the art but, we are looking for a very professional "Comic Book'ish" home page that will be divided into (2) primary columns. One for DC (photo of superman maybe) and another for MARVEL (photo of Silver Surfer maybe). Visitors will be able to select which universe they'd like to browse by clicking the image link and that link will take them to another link-based page which has all HEROES & VILLIANS in alphabetical order. Once clicking on a link for the individual or Group they'd like to read up on, they will be taken to a page that shows approx. 10-15 BMP or JPG images (with text either above or below them ) that represent a certain book or issue (We will supply these images). After clicking the image, they will be taken to a page where they can view the book's contents in PDF with their web browser. We prefer a script that allows them to view multiple pages on screen at once, but if this is not possible, we are open to the alternative. The primary goal of the project is that so that people can easily navigate the website by Universe, Hero & then issue. Once locating the issue they want, we want them to be able to READ the issue. (protected PDF which cannot be downloaded. Is this possible) We would like the site to be able to be easily maintained by us, so we can add issues, replace images & so forth. The site should be a sort of "Template", which we could edit as we see fit once it's completed. The site MUST be Firefox & Internet Explorer friendly. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows XP Pro, Vista, Internet Explorer & Firefox.
