Cross-platform database frontend

The goal of this project is to create a single cross-platform database front-end project which will allow identical invocation in both the .NET CF and full frameworks. The project should be written in C#. The interface between an invoking application and the project will look identical to the .NET CF interface to SQLCE and should automatically use SQLCE for CF applications. If the same project is invoked in the same way within the full .NET framework, the code must support the same functionality set, but the backend implementation can be one of the following: 1) an XML flat file, 2) a CSV flat file, 3) a free database which can be automatically installed from the database library, 4) coder's suggestion (if approved). Finally, a very simple cross-platform test application is required to demonstrate functionality. The test app should be created in such a way that (as with standard CF code), the same executables can be invoked within either Windows XP or Windows Mobile 2003 and exhibit the same functionality. ## Deliverables 0) A .NET CF project that compiles into a cross-platform library. All required files should be created or automatically installed once the platform type is identified. The project should be compatible with VS .NET 2003 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows XP (.NET framework installed) Windows Mobile 2003 (.NET CF installed)
