I am in need of a utility/program that allows me to do the following. I have two computers (Windows 98 and Windows XP) networked together by a cross over cable. I need one computer to open folders and installed programs on the second computer.
Here are the details:
The first computer should be able to see and access the drives on the second computer just like the drives on it's own computer. When the first computer opens a program on the second computer the program must open and run on the second computer only.
The first computer should be able to access folders and installed programs on the second computer by a command line interface (example; E:\program files\excel) or mouse click. The first computer must control the activation of installed programs on the second computer without it interferring with programs actively running on the first computer.
