(due Friday, Nov 3) Simulation of Spread Spectrum CDMA

Please submit via Blackboard:

Due: Friday, November 3

Write a program in C, C++, or Java that simulates the spread spectrum

CDMA multiple access technique. Your simulation should demonstrate how

1) three different user signals are combined by CDMA to form one wave by a base station,

2) are then sent over a channel, and

3) are received and decoded by each mobile station using a rake receiver.

Use an 11-bit Barker code for the chipping sequence.

Model the effects of multi-path signal propagation.

Your program should read files that store the user signals

and the chipping sequences.

It should display the signal at each stage of the process.

Write a one page report that describes how your program works,

how to run it, and the results that you found from doing it.

Include the source code, the data files, and a sample output.

Submit all this via Blackboard
