I need a batch file that will take all .xls files in a specified folder, and rename them by adding an underscore and the current date/timestamp to the filename before the extension.? So, if there were 3 files in a folder, [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], and [url removed, login to view], and the batch file was run at 3pm on 7/1/08, the batch file would rename the files test1_070108_1500.xls.

The batch file will be run on Windows XP and Windows 2000 systems (mostly XP), and the path of the folders for renaming will not change frequently if at all.
