Adobe inDesign Plug-In

'm looking for an engineer with experience writing Plug-Ins for Adobe InDesign on the mac OS9 and OSX and Windows platforms. The extension I am looking to build and distribute will be quite simple. The basic functionality will be as follows: Upon the close or save of a InDesign document, I need to have an AES encrypted (key to be supplied) plain text log written to a user specified directory that will include the file name, the timestamp of the doc open and the doc close/save, a list of all image assets in the InDesign doc. The Plug-in will launch automatically upon the launch of Adobe Indesign and run constantly in the background, logging all documents and contents into the log file. Each document will have its own, separate log file. The Plug-in should include: - a password protected interface that allows the user to identify the path/destination of the log file and whether the log is created on doc close, doc save or doc save and close. I also need a version that will work in Quark Xpress to the same specs. see separate post for said bid. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? : A software application in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
