New Home Page for fyifuse.com

We just recently launched our website and even though we are getting a lot of hits to the site, we feel like the consumers aren't staying on the site long enough to see what we offer! This project we would like a new home page that is completely different from the rest of the site. Something new and exciting to really grab our consumers attention as soon as they enter the site! We would also like a software that will enable us to add news/videos from other websites such as yahoo news, gossip site, sports and so on. If you have the patience and creativity to fulfil this project, then place a bid fast because we want to start this process ASAP! Also we had an idea for the home page: Since we couldn't find a website to fit our idea, we were thinking that when a consumer goes to [login to view URL] the first thing that they will see 2 huge signs daring the consumer to enter the site at thier own risk. Asking questions such as, "ready for excitement?, ready to have some fun for a change?, Like to dance? Wanna get away?" things like that should be blazing like a neon sign on the Event Side. Then it should say something like "find an event in your area today"! The busines side should have something like that also but it more tamed and not as wild as the event side. We want something like a good vs evil or hot and cold theme. Making the client feel like they have to make a choice in order to enter the site. This is just an example but catching the customers attention and holding it is the key to this entire web design but we don't want it to be too flashy or to look like spam or a potential virus website either. This page will the be the official [login to view URL] page and the existing page should be changed to "[login to view URL]" if thats possible. If done efficiently and well a bonus will be added to the accepted bid. Good luck!
