We are seeking to produce our own proprietary software program for controlling what is displayed on the LED screens that we manufacture.
I have attached a document which outlines the requirements for this project.
If you would like to see a similar application please download the following application:
(this is not our website but the software just happens to be hosted for download there...its just a generic software you could download anywhere as a matter of fact called LED Manager 2010)
We would have enhancements required as outlined in the attached document but you will be able to get the idea of what we're looking for. Once you have an understanding of what we're looking for you'll see the project is quite straightforward. Keep in mind, a successful bidder will not only demonstrate technical ability to create the software per the attached document but also design skills to produce an impressive user interface. We strive to be an innovation leader in our industry and so the right look for this software application is essential.
***Please keep in mind that for low level programming and the interaction between the software and the hardware we have an application which we will keep using as a setup utility so that is not part of this project. Just like in the example software I provided via the link, what is displayed on the LED screen is just what appears in a portion of the computer's monitor, making this software application quite simple to create. Again...look for details in the attachment.
I look forward to your bids. Please contact me for clarification or if you have questions.
Read through your specifications and looked at the example app... Looks like an interesting project (and if the low-level is taken care of, an easy one). I have some experience writing apps that interface with custom hardware-- most recently for an EEG device. I would love to work on this with you.
I have worked with some software to hardware interfacing such as mobilePen devices and mobile ticket stations. I am currently involved with the UI side of an asp.net scheduling application. Would love to do this work for you, thanks.
