Application to create stand allone programs

We are company is specialized in software distribution and office automation. We deliver al sort of desktop implementation solutions for our customers in the Netherlands. We use technics like msi repackaging, serverbased computing with Citrix and nowadays a lot of solutions like Microsoft AppV and VMware ThinAp. Due of the high license cost and complex infrastructure that’s involved we are looking for someone how can develop a program which does only one function of this technique and that is isolation complete installations in one singe executable that runs in its own virtual environment. Make an installation completly stand alone alowing it copy it to a computer instead of installing it and does not conflict with other installed applicaions or components. ## Deliverables Instead of documenting a list of functional requirements I would like to refer to the possibilities that the VMWare thinapp application contains.? The program the coder delivers must be able to capure a complete snapshot of an installation en compile this to a standalone executable. This executable must run on any OS that is the same the application is captured on including service pack state. For example the base OS is Windows XP SP2 the exacutable runs on all XP SP2 machines. If it runs on SP1 it would be nice if it doesn’t ? run on SP3 it is understandable. An application that has to be captured can contain different conponents like Oracle client, BDE or other post and pre installations. These should be captured inside as wel. So one one machine you can run an program executable which contains Oracle client 9 together with a program executable which contains Oracle Client 10. Also the exacutable must handle environment variables, current user settings (%USERPROFILE%) and services. I can send you an install of VMware thinapp for inspiration, it’s a small installer of a couple of Mb’s that does exactly as we want our program.
