AOL and ICQ messenger

Hello Coders,

We need AOL and ICQ clients developed. Nothing Fancy. Just the Program should be able to do text chat with AOL and ICQ users and send/receive files from them. Please note we do not need Video or Voice support for now. Maybe later. Only simple text messenging and file transfer for now. Obviously, it should also contain common features which make the messenger program "A MESSENGER" like COMPLETE buddy list management, Adding, removing, blocking of buddies and changing your Status etc.

Again let me confirm that we do not need any Fancy stuff (like we do not need any appealing GUI and all that). We would be integrating the stuff developed by you in our own application so..should be in integrable form. Please note that the program you develop should use LATEST ICQ and AOL protocols. Also specify in your bid CLEARLY what facilities and functionalities you would be providing with the price you are quoting.

The clients must be PROXY transparent. Including the file transfer and whole protocol. There are certain open sources available .... But you need to study them. DONT BID before you study the project.

The providers who cant make it proxy transparent need not apply.

Finally, ONLY SERIOUS BIDDERS PLEASE!!! I have a bitter experience when I hired some coders and they came out to be school or college students. And I had to fight on petty things. You should be online on messengers frequently.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
