Create Simple RSS to Text File PHP Script

Create a simple php script that will be run via cron - it will take a standard RSS feed and will write the contents to a .txt file. It will need to do a couple of matches, regex, trim a couple of the fields and compare an array before writing it to the .txt file. Full details will be given but the above is what will need to be done.
