There are a couple of travel sites which I would like to be crawled by a robot in real time. For example, [login to view URL], [login to view URL] I am interested only in the information about packaged tours or holidays. The end result, is that I put some quiery into the program interface (for example, a holiday in Italy, for 2 weeks, starting on the 8th of September) and the robot crawls one of those sites and provides the results in real time to me. Yes it is possible ... but depends how much sites you have to crawl in number is huge this might to follow to some delay in response. Also it depends of your hosting Actually some experiments are required. I guess if you have just few sites to crawl it is ok .. If not some offline crawling is possible Last one to make crawl is my full time job
