Looking for a software application created in VB.net and loaded onto a Datalogic Memor Windows CE device.? We are looking for a software developer that wants to have a long term relationship with us. Details of the application: Programming Language: VB.NET Device: Windows CE Datalogic Memor Communications: Active Sync Application Overview:? The first phase of this application is pretty straight forward. I will detail the processes in point form. The winner of the bid will be sent a functional spec with detailed requirements. ## Deliverables General overview of the application: The system we are developing is for course training. The general idea goes something like this: 1) A training supervisor creates a comma delimmited look up file with specific attributes: Example: Badge ID, first name , last name. (This is out of scope to the developer.) 2) The supervisor then places the file in a specified location: Example: C:program files/ upload. (Details given in Functional Spec) 3) The portable device is placed in the cradle. 4) The first thing the device should do is check to see if there is a new lookup file. If there is it should sync and grab it. 5) When launching the application, the first screen should prompt the user to scan in a list of courses ( This could be 1 or many courses. Details of the course format will be detailed in the Functional spec). 6) The next screen should prompt the user to scan in a course trainer ( the teacher teaching the course). 7) The next screen prompts for Employee IDs. Once an ID is scanned, the device should do a look up and display the current scanners ID along with his first name and last name. 8) All of these scans are saved in a text file. The structure of this text file will be provided to you in the functional spec. 9) Once all the scans are taken and the course is complete. The supervisor returns the unit to head office and the device is synced 10) The transaction file will be synced from the portable device to a specific location on the PC. Example: C:program files/ Download. 11) The result of this file will look something like this Header information: Date: May 10/08 Course(s): Course01 , Course 02, Course 03 Supervisor: John Doe Transaction Details: Badge ID, First Name, Last Name, Date, Time(HHMMSS) 1000,John, Doe, 05-05-08, 092315 2000,Ted, Fox, 05-05-08,092323 3300,Sam, Wok, 05-05-08,092323 As you can see, the application is pretty straight forward. We upload a lookup, we scan in people that are taking the courses, we save it as a CSV file, sync it over the the PC and drop it off into a specified folder. If this looks like an application that you would be interested in developing, please place a bid.? ?
