Connecting to a SOAP feed

We need to connect to and? send an enquiry to? a SOAP feed.
We have the documentation, and we have established a connection to the feed.
What we need is someone to either rewrite what we currently have (not that much) or ensure our current script is correct, and write something to deal with the output received.
The code should be explained or commented so we can ammend it as necessary. We do have fairly good knowledge of PHP, but have never used anything like this before.
The job should be relatively simple, hence the short deadline.

The documentation for the SOAP feed is included, and upon acceptance we will send you a copy of our current script.
