Concrete5 Performance Issues

I'm having performance issues after moving a concrete5 installation from the test server to the production server (both at godaddy). I tried everything I could and I was not able to make the loading time go down to a usable level. I need someone well versed in concrete5 that can find what is going on. Please, tell me your experience with concrete5 and what will be your strategy to find out what is the problem. Also, feel free to ask me any question, as I am a developer myself and tried a lot of things to speed up the website. I will be available to work with you on this issue. We need to start ASAP. Other notes: There is SSH access. Changing host is not an option. Of course, do not bid if you do not have experience with concrete5.
