I'm in need of a script or windows application that will capture the links that a particular URL is spawning. Basically I would like to enter 1 link into the script and then the script will load that link perhaps 100 times, allowing a really good test of which urls its spawning. The script would then also capture a list of all websites the 1 link I entered had spawned. They are basically popups on a website, but im afraid there might be a bad site in the mix that is only loading perhaps once every 100 showings, or worse maybe only once per 200+ showings. I'd need the script commented, with many of the fields editable by the admin.
Heres an example, lets say the site I want to check on is Yahoo.com. On load 1 it loads 1 popup, for hotmail.com. On load 2 is loads a popup for msn.com. On load 3 is loads 5 popups, [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], and [login to view URL], where [login to view URL] loads 2 other popups, [login to view URL], and espn.com.
So in addition to the script keeping track of the popups the main site I enter spawns, it will also keep track of any and all urls, that popups on the popups pop open.
