We want to be able to manage apache from our admin system. As we see it we invoke a call from PHP to a perl-script (which must have permission to execute and edit files) which takes a template consissting of 5-10 lines of text (a virtual host record for [login to view URL]) and adds it to the [login to view URL] file. A different call to this script deletes a virtual host from the [login to view URL] file with a given domain name. Editing is not neccessary, only add and delete. After performed add, a standard directory should be added and apache reloaded. At remove, nothing needs to be done. No delete of directories and no restart, only a remove of the domain from httpd.conf.
