We are a community-based, social software application on the web. We need to provide a way for our users to set appointments with each other within the site/service, and thus, eliminate the need to use an external calendaring application.
For example, when using Google Calendar, you can set appointments and find free time. You can view week and month views. This calendar application can integrate with Google Calendar (API's).
The goal of these features is organize and schedule meetings together or use of resources.

Day/Time Calendar
Pre-set time blocks by person (time block others can request as an appointment)
Settings (what is the default, 30 minutes, 60 minutes)
Schedule can be for a person or a room (i.e. a conference room).
