Modify the shell scripts found here:
<[url removed, login to view]>
They are based on the TPC-H tests ([url removed, login to view]).
The developer is required to take the scripts based on SAPDB (not Postgres) and modify them to work with our database. Developer will be given our database and command line tools to use.
Approach should be to modify existing scripts to make them work off of shell "include" file / environment variables, as much as possible, and then replace all of the SAP-DB command line tools with ours. Developer is required to install SAP-DB as well.
Other possible gotchas may be minor differences in SQL syntax, possibly requiring modifications to the qgen utility used.
Developer should know Unix shell scripting, databases, and possibly a little C if qgen needs to be modified.
