We currently have an SMTP server running Postfix using a MySQL database for IP and UN/PW authentication. The complete setup of the server can be replicated by running an install script on a newly installed OS or an existing one. We need to add one feature to this. The feature must be added to the installation script.
The server has a MySQL database with 2 tables, one contains IP's and another that contains UN/PW information. Each of these tables are populated manually and contain the information for clients to authenicate when sending email.
We need to add to this authentication information.
a) Create a script which will run as a cron job every fifteen minutes which will connect to two different remote servers and pull their email addresses and passwords. The script will then add these into the thrid table on the SMTP server. The script must compare its existing database to add any new addresses and remove any that no longer exist. The cron job should also update a fourth table with the last time it succesfully ran. The script must be easy enough to edit if additional remote servers are added in the future.
b) Postfix seems to be truncating the email address when it is sent as the username to authenticate. When it sees the 'at' symbol it truncates it and everything after to hide the domain. We need it to keep the full email address intact so users can authenticate correctly.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

4) Add the feature noted in item 3 to our existing installation script. The script will then be tested on other servers.
5) Other features such as PHP and Apache2 must continue to work as they are.
