The idea is to let users enter a word, or a short message, in a web-based text-input field (html), and then have the string transformed into an animated GIF, displaying one letter at a time. The letter images are obtained from [login to view URL] (screenshot: [login to view URL]), the animated gif is created through PHP and GD/ImageMagick. The main (words) and js (spell) php sources are already available at: [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] - The user sees all randomly chosen letters first and can replace the ones he dislike with another image by clicking them (javascript), prior to generating the full message animation. - Depending on what's possible and which option uses the least system resources, each letter is resized to 50x50 pixels before being added to the animation OR the final animation is resized to 50x50 pixels. - For the best results, the tile size should be "Square". - A space becomes an empty, transparent image. - Three speed options: slow animation (2 seconds per frame), normal animation (0,5s), fast (eg. 0,1s) - Configurable variable for maximum number of characters (not just max. limit on text-input field) and three speed options. - A standard image is inserted at the end of all generated animations (a 2 second frame) and then the animation starts over again. Infinitely. - Optimized code using as less resources as possible, scriptkiddie-proof and simple stats (total # users, total # of images). Feel free to ask questions. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
