Design Simple Site for Credit Score Info

Hello, I am looking to have a simple site designed for my domain, GetAHigherScore.com. The purpose of the site is to offer information on how to improve your credit score. The main idea here: 1) Site must look perfect in 1024x768 and higher resolutions 2) No tables -? Only DIV's and CSS. 3) Looking for a simple layout; Title bar, navigation bar, and content area. Check out this site: <[login to view URL]> I like the way they lay out their content, and I'd like to be able to easily do the same on my site. This project would include the graphics and DIV styles to replicate similar areas of content. I do like the color scheme there but I'm not looking to copy that site. Open to suggestions and would really like to see a few different ideas (see my other sites: [[login to view URL]][1], [[login to view URL]][2], [[login to view URL]][3], [[login to view URL]][4]). 3) Need to be able to control all the separate areas of text/links on the site with different styles. 4) Would like to incorporate blogging software, most likely WordPress, into the index page. It would be the main content for the index, but I'd still like to be able to put more content up around it. I still want the site visible in 800x600, but it doesn't have to be 100% perfectly fitted to the screen. It can go over on the edges a bit. 2) No tables -? Only DIV's and CSS. 3) Looking for a simple layout; Title bar, navigation bar, and content area. But the Content area needs to be split up. For instance, if I have content sections that have blocks on top, blocks in the middle, and listings of articles below, I'd like 3 separate styles for those 3 areas. They may very well be identical, but for future editing, I'd need them to be separate. Looking to use Tahoma font in black. Links should be blue and underlined when roll-over is in effect. 4) Would like to incorporate blogging software, most likely WordPress, into the index page. It would be the main content for the index, but I'd still like to be able to put more content up around it. So the bulk of the index will be wordpress, but I'd like to be able to place content around it. I'm open to suggestions as to how to display Wordpress. Whether it be aligned on the left and I have a content bar on the rigtht, or vice versa, I leave to you. I would like Wordpress customed to fit the style of the website, meaning it should mimic the same font styles,? link styles, and content styles. For instance, if areas of my content have icons or background fading around them, I'd like the blog post titles to have a similar look to them. A good example: <[login to view URL]> The color scheme is not what I like, but the style of the blog? posts and the content area on the right are very nice. Would still want to go the next step and enhance the titles of the posts to look like content on my site, etc... Really open to a lot of creativity on your part here. So feel free to do some quick mockups. I'm open to almost anything and would love to see some really unique and interesting designs. One last item: The main title bar should have some kind of logo that would be unique to my site. It could be using the name itself (GetAHigherScore) or some kind of graphical representation (like upward arrows and dollar signs or something). Anything related to credit/finance and "going up" or "increasing." I'm not too worried about this so don't crazy! Thanks, Joe PS - Be sure to ask any and all questions!
