Hello,
The idea is to create a website which helps user configure/assemble computers. The site should also have listings of different hardware and their prices. The list of h/w and prices should be fetched from the mysql db rather than being static. There should be separate categories of hardwares based on different price range, company or configurations.
For h/w cateogory you can look into newegg/amazon.
For h/w selection you can refer any website who provides flexiblity to customize. As an example, have a look at

There might be different hardwares which are incompatible with each other, so while showing the options, you should consider compatiblity as well.
In this case, there are radio buttons, but we would prefer combo boxes because the options would be more.
There should also be an admin page which helps in entering the values in database. For example, uploading an image, adding new products etc
It should work fine across browsers. My approximate budget is under $100
