I have a Boonex Dolphin social networking site and a phpProbid auction site. Both are written in .php and both use the same mysql database and are on the same domain.
I would like the two scripts/sites linked so that users only need to register/login once to access both sites. That is, when users register and log in to the Boonex Dolphin site, they are also registered and logged in to the phpProbid site.
I have a modification already that links the Dolphin site with a phpBB3 forum so this could be used as a template perhaps to make the link with phpProbid easier. I have a test site with a fresh install of Boonex Dolphin and phpProbid set up that a service provider would be welcome to use with full access to the files and database to develop this link. However, when it was completed, I would need an explanation of what was added/changed so that I could install the modification on my actual live site, or the service provider could make the changes to the live site if preferred.
The finished link/modification should:
Register a new user in booth Dolphin and phpProbid when the user registers at the Dolphin site
Login a user to both the Dolphin site and the phpProbid site when the user logs into the Dolphin site
Logout a user from both the Dolphin site and the phpProbid site when the user logs out of the Dolphin site
Update the password and/or email address of the user in both Dolphin and phpProbid if the user uses the lost password function in Dolphin or changes their password or email address in Dolphin.
Thank you for your consideration of this job.
