This is a challenging project with a precise specification. Required skills are javascript regular expressions and/or DOM, plus other skills below. I'd like to find someone to help me write a bookmarklet or Mozilla plugin (xpi?). Whatever works best. At this point, I am still looking for the right person. This person is someone with experience who can tell me if it can be done. Please explain how. If it can be done, I will post a new project and I will invite you to bid on it. The idea: I have figured out how to perform my own kind of search on a high-traffic web site. It involves searching, getting results, and searching again based on the first set of results. This yields an interesting set of search results. The problem: The problem is that to do a "super" search I must copy/paste and submit the same form multiple times. The search becomes tedious and it always involves at least 3 clicks. Each time I do a search I get to the results on page A. Then copy and paste each result from page A into a search form. This gets me the results on page B. I have to do this one-at-a-time. The result sets on page B can not be viewed on a single page. It's very inefficient. The solution: I want to automate this by screen-scraping page A for the keyword and submitting the keyword to the search-results page B via querystring. The results from page b will be collected in an array for displaying to the end user. Page A can have many results, and Page B can also have many results, so the process must be repeated for each keyword in page A, and the results displayed are from A x B. The results are all displayed on a single "super-results" page or in a sidebar. It would be great if the super-results page was an array, or xml data. The results from page A and page B are always in table form, and they always follow the same format. Please, see the simple examples, and the diagram for more help.
